Our Women’s team is emerging as an inclusive, tight-knit group that allows rugby players of any experience to get stronger, build supportive friendships, and experience the amazing sport of rugby. We are always looking for both new and experienced players to come out and join us! We are quickly expanding and have been able to participate in both friendly social games and tournaments in the southeast. With your support and participation, we aim to join the Women’s D2 league as a member team of the Carolinas Geographic Rugby Union.

The culture of our team is the foundation that has allowed for us to grow so rapidly. We pride ourselves on focusing not only on improving with rugby, but also creating a fun, safe environment where we can relieve stress and bond as a team. As strong advocates for equal opportunity for participation in sports, we aim to maintain a space where anyone from any background can feel confident competing as themself. Overall, the Axolotls are a rad crew of womxn who enjoy karaoke, margaritas, dirty jokes, and, most importantly, rugby.
