Building the Schedule: What’s Next for Johnson City Rugby

A few matchups are set, and we’re working to lock in even more action this season.

As we gear up for an exciting spring season, the pieces are starting to fall into place for Johnson City Rugby. With three games already confirmed and more matchups in the works, the energy is building for what promises to be a memorable season. Here’s a look at what’s on the horizon:

Confirmed Games

Women’s Team:

February 22: The women will kick off their season with an exciting matchup against Gaston County.

March 15: A second showdown with Gaston County is set, providing another opportunity to showcase their strength and unity.

Men’s Team:

March 15: The men hit the road for an away game against Raeford. This will be a key test early in the season and a chance to make a statement.

Open Dates for the Men & Women


While the schedule is taking shape, there’s still room to add more action for the men’s team. Currently, the following dates are open:

May 3

This summer, Johnson City Rugby is hosting Wagon Wheel 10’s, a fast-paced 10-a-side tournament featuring men’s and women’s brackets. Teams from across the region will take the field, bringing strong competition and high-energy play. The tournament will take place at: Woodland Elementary 2303 Indian Ridge Rd, Johnson City, TN 37604 Registration is open, and teams are locking in their spots.
